Every luxury car in our fleet is a current model, owner-supplied, Mylz-managed and detailed before each handover. Daily rates below include VAT and fall for rentals of 7 days or more.

Many luxury car rental listings show a photo of one car and the words "or similar" underneath. Ours don't hide it: the Range Rover Sport, S-Class and Porsche 911 are marked Guaranteed model, so you receive exactly that make and model, never a substitute. Other cars are booked by model, and if that exact car were ever unavailable we would offer you an equivalent or better car in the same category before your rental starts.

Colour and specific options vary between cars of the same model. If a particular colour matters for photos or an event, tell us when you book and we'll confirm what's possible.

Other operators often quote one deposit on one page and another in their terms. Ours are below, pulled live from the booking system. The deposit is a refundable hold on a credit card in the main driver's name, and choosing a higher cover option lowers it.

Every luxury car is available self-drive. The S-Class and V-Class can also come with a vetted, suited Mylz chauffeur for up to 10 hours a day, at R2,800 on top of the car. That suits airport arrivals for VIP guests, a full day of wine tasting, or a wedding where nobody wants to think about parking. See our private chauffeur service.

• Chapman's Peak Drive (Hout Bay to Noordhoek): around 9 km of cliff-edge road with about 114 bends. It is a toll road, payable at the plaza, and it closes temporarily in strong wind, heavy rain or for rock-fall work, so check its status before you set off. Drive it south-bound in the late afternoon for the light.
• Victoria Road to Llandudno: the coastal road from Camps Bay past the Twelve Apostles. Go early on summer weekends, as the beaches fill and parking along the road disappears.
• Franschhoek Pass (R45): climb out of Franschhoek towards Villiersdorp for views back over the valley. Combine it with the Helshoogte Pass from Stellenbosch for a Winelands loop.
• Clarence Drive (R44): Gordon's Bay to Kleinmond, hugging False Bay. Continue to Hermanus in whale season (roughly June to November).

For weddings we can deliver the car to the venue or the bride's home, and collect it after the event. For matric dances the driver must meet the car's age and licence rules, so most families book the car for a parent or add a chauffeur. Please don't plan a photo shoot that involves driving on gravel, sand or beaches. Off-road use isn't covered by any of the waivers.
